The Institution of Engineers (India), the largest professional body of Engineers and
Technologists in India was established in 1920. There are about 94 centres of the
institution spread all over the country. The aim of the Institution is to promote and
practice, science and art of engineers in all parts of the country and also in
neighbouring countries.
The Institution of Engineers (India), Amravati Local was established on 7.1.1998 with 200
corporate members. The I.E. (India), Amravati Local Centre acquired 25000 sq. ft. of land
in the prime locality for construction of local centre's building with a view to expand
its activities. |
